Default Why am I not receiving email notifications?

Hi,
Why am I not receiving email notifications when someone sends me a PM or responds to one of my post? I have the Default Thread Subscription Mode set to instant email notification for PM's and my subscriptions. It has been working fine for almost a year and then for the past few weeks I noticed not emails! I havent changed anything. What gives? Any ideas?
Thank you!

Your account settings are correct. I noticed that the MX record appears to show your email is handled externally from your domain. Have you logged into the webmail client to see if the emails are being delivered a Spam/Junk/Bulk folder by your provider? If you're using an email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.) it likely would not download messages that go into the Spam/Junk/Bulk folder. Therefore, you may need to log into the web-based email client to see if the emails are there.

If not, let us know and I'll look to see if there's an email bounce issue between CF email server and the email server in question.

Thanks for the quick reply!
We are using Zimbra for our email. It was working fine for almost a year and then it stopped. Why would it change? When you say log into webmail client do you mean log into our email account and check the junk mail? If so, yes everyday.
Thanks

It appears to me that homestead is your provider and Zimbra is the email software. I would make sure you're logging into your web-based email client (not your Outlook, Thunderbird or other local pop email client) to check your Junk/Spam/Bulk folder.

Zimbra, the software that appears homestead is using for email, can be setup many ways to filter junk email. It's possible that, due to the volume of email that CF's email server handles, the email notifications are suddenly being flagged as Junk/Spam/Bulk and may not be reaching your Inbox. This is not something directly within our control. Once the CF email server sends out emails, it's out of the hands of CF's email server and relies on the receiving end. CF does not have direct control with how email is filtered by the receiving party.

I'll do some checking, but I think you may need to contact homestead because it's likely their email servers are rejecting or filtering email from CF.

As far as Facebook link, I have fixed your link. Your Facebook account appears to be:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/SacCit...47915475276005

I think you have to meet a requirement (by Facebook) before you can simply use "SacCityCorvette" as the page. Otherwise, Facebook won't direct you because it's not a valid page.

Thanks JT for all the help!
I will send a message to homestead about the email.

I have been having the same issue the past few weeks. If I do get the notifications it is in bulk days after the fact. They are not going to spam folder. JT, is it possible for you to check this for me? TIA

Your account shows that you have Default Thread Subscription set to Do not subscribe. You won't get email notifications of updates in threads that you participated or Subscribed to unless you specifically do it per thread or set the Default Thread Subscription to one of the email notification options.

1) Go to UserCp: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/usercp.php
2) Go to Edit Options: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/prof...do=editoptions
3) Scroll down to Default Thread Subscription Mode and change it to some sort of email notification if you desire email notification.
4) Click on Save Changes button

Right, I only subscribe to certain threads. The ones that have updates that I am subscribed to I am no longer receiving notices on or notifications when I have a new PM. I have this issue every now and then and they always arrive all at once after a few days. For some reason nothing is coming through. Any further thoughts? Thank you
