Over time I have entered my username without looking and end up hitting the wrong keys. Now I have a variety of usernames that are just garbage and I don't know how to get rid of them. Can someone help? I would like to know if there is something I can do to erase the fubas because it will happen again and I would like to do it if possible. Thank you. Joe
I'm not entirely sure I understand the issue. Your username is "stingray6507". You cannot create usernames without having registered them by assigning a password as well as associated email address (or linking them through facebook, etc.).
Therefore, I'm not sure I understand how you can develop variety of usernames from wrong keystrokes?
If you can provide more of an explanation, we can try to help.

Sorry for the confusion. When I start to type in my username there are a few other items in there besides my "username". Some of the other things in there are: s, st, stingraybud - these are some of them that are in there and I wanted to remove these so that the only thing in there was my username. I put these other things in there by mistake typing to fast and not looking before I hit the return key. So if there is a way to eliminate my mistakes please let me know. If not I will just deal with it. I hope I gave a better explanation this time. Thank you for your help. Joe
I think understand. You're speaking about the login box and it having "suggestions" based on previous input. Your browser stores those values, not CorvetteForum.
You can clear those values out but it will delete all other stored values from other sites as it's a global option. If using Firefox, the option to clear that list is Tools - Clear Recent History - and deselect everything but Form & Search history and then click the Clear Now button to clear the Form & Search history. As far as prevention, you can either disable the feature entirely by going to Tools - Options - Privacy Tab - and deselecting the Remember Search & Form history, or you can use autologin to prevent having to type in your username in the first place by going to Tools - Options - Security Tab and selecting Remember Passwords for sites.
