Are you speaking of your UserCP page and that you're seeing lots of new threads listed?
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/usercp.php

If so, you might have Subscribed to a section. In that event, each time there is a new thread, or updated thread, in the section that you Subscribed to a link will appear in your UserCP to that thread. Once you either read the thread, or you become inactive for 30 minutes, that information will change to reflect the newest (unread) data. You can Unsubscribe from the section by visiting the section you Subscribed to, and under the Forum Tools area, you will see a Unsubscribe link.

Otherwise, I see that your account is using Instant Email Notification. So whenever you participate in a thread, you're emailed when the thread is updated. Additionally, you will also see a link in your UserCP to the thread. This happens automatically whenever you participate in a thread. Like the Subscribe to a section function previously mentioned, once you either read the thread, or you become inactive for 30 minutes, that information will change to reflect the newest (unread) data. If this is too much data for you, you can set your account so that you must manually subscribe to threads that you want to be updated with. To do so:

1) Go to UserCP (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/usercp.php)
2) Go to Edit Options (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/prof...do=editoptions)
3) Under "Default Thread Subscription Mode", change that from "Instant Email Notification" to "Do Not Subscribe"
4) Scroll down and click on Save Changes button

From then on, you will need to manually select the "Thread Subscription", per thread, if you want to Subscribe to only certain threads.

You will also then need to clear out your existing Subscriptions by doing the following:

1) 1) Go to UserCP (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/usercp.php)
2) Go to View all Subscribed Threads (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/subs...n&folderid=all)
3) Next to the "Notification" column, at the top, you will see a blank check box. Select that top one to then select ALL entries below.
4) Scroll down to "Selected Threads:" and select "No Email Notification"
5) Click on Go button
6) Depending on how many entries you have, you may have to repeat the above a few times to remove all entries.
