Default titles remain bold

I'll explain this the best I can. Let's say I click on My Recent Topics for the last few days, and let's say there are four threads in bold text, including one I started, among the list - the rest not bold.
My Recent Topics
A thread some guy started
Another clever thread
The thread I started
Yet another interesting thread
Older thread I've already reviewed
So I click to view the four new posts, including the one I started.

Afterwards, if I clicked on My Recent Topics, mine is no longer bold, which I would expect, but the other three are still bold.

In the past, all four would no longer be bold. This happens either if I refresh my "Recent Topics" screen, or if I return to "C5 General" and click on My Recent Topics." And yes, I am checking to see that nobody has added a post while I was reading the others. This happens every time, and it's never done that in the past.

Any thoughts?

If the threads remain bold, then it means there are unread posts. Read/Unread post are controlled by your account as well as cookies. Without going into a very long detailed post about the two, what you describe is the part controlled via cookies with your browser. Basically, your browser, via cookies, will record what you've read on the forum on a temporary basis.

The issue you describe can happen if the thread is multi-page and you don't visit the last page of the thread. In that case, it will remain bold until one of the following: 1)You use the Mark This Forum Read for the particular forum where the thread is located, 2)You use the Mark All forums read, 3)Your account becomes inactive - all posts in the thread will automatically be reset as Read prior to that point, 4) You view the last page of the thread

Thanks for the quick reply. OK, I just read your response, but the symptoms remain. In the past, my thread would become unbolded. Is there something I might have changed in my browser that might be causing this? I don't remember changing anything having to do with cookies in my FF 3.6.18 browser.
