Im trying to take a simple pic from google image and convert/resize it to use it as my boot screen on my kenwood DNX6980 but I have never used photoshop before. Could somone please resize it for me? Here is what I need as per the instuctions I found.
"Using Photoshop or another Photo editing program resize the image to 800 X 480.
Save the picture as a BMP 16bit full color file. In the advanced settings change the RGB to R5,G6,B5"
Wow that was fast! Ill give it a try when I get home. Thanks!
I just looked at the image again and noticed that the right edge has an "overlap" going on. Can I trim that somehow before I load it? Im realy no good with photos! Lol! Thanks.

Thanks for the pic resize JT. I got it installed lastnight. I couldnt get rid of that double edge though? Any idea how I can do that? Thanks again! Looks much better.
Double edge? Not sure I'm following that. The picture was resized to the specifications and saved in 16bit. But if you can elaborate or explain what needs to be done, I'm sure we can help.

The right edge of the pic you posted looks like it is wrapped around from the left side maybe? I'm not sure how to word it. Do you see what I mean? It does that on the kenwood also. Everything else is perfect. If you click on the original image you can see the edge is normal. Not sure how that happened when it converted. Thanks again for all your help!
