I know the powers that be are aware of the issues with this but it sure is getting old to have to always run the My Recent Topic searches at least twice with the first one always failing. Seems like a lot of wasted CPU time on the website end. Once out of every 50 or so runs, it might work the first time. Other than that, it always fails. I've tried different browsers and get the same result so its not my end. If I'm having the problem, everyone else probably is as well. Its been this way for a seriously long time and last that I heard, it was going to be addressed at some point by the programmers...its still not working.
You are correct that the My Recent Topics search time is an issue on CorvetteForum's end and not on the member's side. However, it does appear more prone to occur those who have a lot of posts. I did make some additional requests, last week, on this topic but don't have any updates at this moment.

Just now, I ended up with two search ID's trying to reach my recent topics. I'm a heavier poster in that I'm trying assist people with their issues, which is the purpose of these forums. The first search ID was wasted coming back with no threads found, 2988401, and two seconds later, search ID 2988402 came back with the normal. Since IB reduced the search from a max of two weeks, to one week maximum, I would think this would have reduced the issue. I'm now wondering if its due to the overall number of posts within the "entire" database and not just within the past week, even though its only reporting within the last week? Could it also be related that simply logging in is causing the database to go back to day one and update each time someone like me logs in, therefore showing my status being online, for every post in the data base that I've ever done? This would certainly take a serious amount of CPU/Server time.
