My recent topics...
For the past few days, when I click on "My Recent Topics", I've been getting a long delay then a "503 Error" message, on my first and sometimes second attempts to access them. Today, I get a "Cannot access this webpage" error page..........

Is this a one-time event? Did it occur immediately or after the long delay? I just checked and My Recent Topics appears working for me.
As previously mentioned, there is known issues with the My Recent Topics and delays (generally involving members with history of many posts) that is still an open issue that hasn't been resolved, but there is still work toward resolving the issue.

"JT", I'm currently semi-retired, and the days that I work, my ritual is to check my e-mails, and my "recent topics" here at CF, before I leave for the day. The "slow load" situation that several of us have described in the recent past, is especially frustrating for me, when I have 10-15 minutes to spend on the laptop before I have to head out the door.
The "503 error"....."page cannot be shown" has been popping up for the last 6-8 days, at least for me, usually the first, and sometimes the second time I try to access the recent topics page. I tried 3-4 times this morning to access "My Recent Topics", with no success at all. At that point, I had run out of time, started this thread, to determine if I was the only one experiencing this situation, and then left for work.
I see that your post is about an hour after mine. maybe something happened in that time frame...

To add, my normal daily visit to ‘'my recent topics'' goes like this.
Get that 503 thing after about a 45 second wait.
Hit the back button and again hit my recent topics and sometimes after a 20 second or so wait will allow “topics’’ to open. That’s sometimes, other times after hitting the back button I will get a this forum requires ‘’x’’ amount of seconds break between tries please try again in (varies) seconds. Wait a few seconds and try again and sometimes you get to topics or it 503 times out again. Been doing this a little more than a week
Just tried it now 9 02 AM my time and it worked fine first try. First time in a long time!

I hardly ever get an error or delay if I select My Topics for today, but if I select 2 days, it times out about half the time. Hopefully IB will continue to work on this until they get it fixed.

Unfortunately I don't have much details or updates beyond being able to acknowledge this is a known issue - especially with members that have many posts - and that attempts to address the issue have been discussed and worked on. Sorry.

I'm a heavy poster in here trying to help others as we all do. The past couple of days now, the "My Recent Topics" is not working at all. If I go in and try, I get a lot of page not found's, blank pages and so on. Previously if I ran it a second time, it might have loaded but no more. I heavily relied upon this function so that I could go back and address specific questions without having to dig for them. Many times, I've looked for a thread that I did address and couldn't find it in the list but the recent topics would find it...therefore for unknown reasons, not all threads will appear in the normal list. Now that the recent topic functions isn't working...no way to know if a thread still exists or not.
