I keep getting notifications, from the forum, of other people's messages, replies, and requests. At present I am being asked for wiring diagrams. I don't want to have forum members angry at me please correct.

I'm not sure I entirely understand the issue, but see if the following helps.

Your account is using Instant Email Notification. So whenever you respond to an existing thread and then another member also responds to that same thread, you will receive Instant Email Notification of that activity. This is called a Subscription. The replies to the thread may or may not be directly for you, but is merely a notification that the thread/topic you previously participated in was updated in activity with other replies by other members. If other members who participated in the same thread/topic also use email notification, they'll also receive the same email notifications from the forum about the updated activity in the thread/topic.

If you do not want to receive those email notifications, you can turn them off by:

Go to UserCP: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/usercp.php
Go to Edit Options: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/prof...do=editoptions
Scroll down to: "Messaging & Notification" section and under "Default Thread Subscription Mode" change it to Do Not Subscribe or No Email Notification.

You'll also need to update any previous threads you participated in by doing the following:

Go to UserCP: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/usercp.php and view all subscribed threads:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/subs...n&folderid=all

You can mass update the settings for those threads by doing the following:

At the top header of the Subscribed Threads, click on the empty box. This will select all threads on that page.



Then, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select No Email Notification or Deleted Subscription and then click on Go button to apply changes to all those selected threads on that page.
