It appears there is an issue with Avatars and we'll look into that. However, I can upload profile pictures and pictures into the album without issue. What exactly is occurring and/or is there any error message when trying to upload a profile picture and album pictures?
Actually, scratch my above reply as I can upload avatars with my account and a test account with normal permissions. My previous comment about not being able to upload an avatar was a user error.
What error messages are you receiving or what is exactly occurring when you attempt to upload pictures? Also, what browser are you using?
Internet Explorer 8 and Google Chrome. I have tried to upload pictures tp a new album both at home (762K) and at work (T1). Both give me a "file failed to upload" error. I have also tried to change my Profile Picture but I am given the same error.
That's the problem. An avatar can't accept a 1-2 MB file size. Maximum an avatar can be is 150 by 150 pixels or 24.4 KB. The system will accept some files that are slightly larger while then trying to rescale the file to fit the restrictions, however, if it's considerably too large the upload will fail.
The albums are limited to about 146.5 KB.
I'm not aware of these having been changed, and the pictures in your album that I browsed were not 1-2 MB.
In short, you will need to scale down your pictures in order to upload them.

My current profile pic is 1.12MB and my current avatar is 1.26MB according to my computer the Forum's picture editor must have re-sized it. I guess all of the other pictures are too large for the Forum's picture viewer to compensate for. The funny thing is that I have posted pictures from these same devices that use the same template as this forum on other boards. Oh well, c'est la vie.
