Default "New Posts" button??? Do we have one???

Am I just missing something or is there no "new posts" button on this forum? All three of the other forums that I'm on that are powered by VBulletin have a button up top, next to "search, quick links, FAQ, photos", that reads "New Posts". You click this button each time you return to the site and it gives you a list of all the threads in all sub-forums that contain new posts since the last time you visited. This is pretty much the "go to" button IMO. It allows you to keep up with all the new posts from all over the forum without having to go search in each sub-forum individually.

I know under "quick links" you can click on "today's posts" but that really does no good. It will only show you up to 10 pages and with as many members and posts as we have here 10 pages isn't even enough to list the threads that contain new posts from morning to lunch.

Somebody please fill me in if I am just blind and can't locate the "New Posts" button. If there is no "new posts" button here can we please get one??? I am almost positive it would be no problem to add since all three of the other forums I'm on powered by vBulletin have it. I really think it would be a great addition to the site and would really improve navigation around here.

Thanks,
Milt IV

under the tab for "Quick links" and it is listed there as "Today's Posts". That is what I use all the time.

The Get New is based on last visit date. With a site as large and active as CF, and the need to balance load, the search is limited to 250 returns so that will be filled up.

I'm not sure I know why the link is missing and I'll check on it. However, the following link is the Get New search:

Thanks for the link. Craziest thing just happened too. I logged in and clicked on my user CP then the "new post" button appeared up top with the rest of the buttons. I clicked it and it brought up the max 250, but then the button disappeared and is no longer there. Maybe it wont show back up until I log out and log in again.

Default Creating a new post

I'd like to ask a question about creating a new thread. I don't see how to do that.

While you're at the main index page: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/index.php
First, go to the appropriate section. If you have a technical question about a 1995 Corvette, for example, you'd go to the "C4 Tech/Performance" section. Once in there, you'll see a New Thread button/icon at the top and bottom of the forum index - like this one . Click on that button/icon that's in the forum, and then you'll get the New Thread form where you can create details (subject and body) and then you go from there - similar to how you was able to post your response here.
