Hard to edit a post

Hard to edit a post
Lately, when I've tried to edit a post, I click on "edit" the editing window comes on screen, but when I click on the post where I want to make the correction/addition, I can't get the cursor to come on screen.
I just edited a post a few minutes ago, and it took nearly 35-40 seconds of clicking on the mouse, before I could get the cursor to appear, so I could make the correction. This has been happening to me for about 2 weeks now.
Anybody else having this issue?

Despite the cursor not appearing, was you able to actually edit by guessing where the cursor was and edit as normal?
