After updates, mine is trying to download objects
I'll click a thread and it starts downloading the HTML page vs. opening the thread. Or, I'll click the search button and it downloads "search.php".
Got any idea how to stop this behavior short of reloading IE and Google?
Right now, it's doing it in Google, though I THOUGHT is was doing it in IE9 earlier today.

It looks like the new programs installed are:
- MS Office PowerPoint Viewer 2007
- Compatibility pack for Office 2007
- MS Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (3 version?!?!)
- MS Office PEdition 2003 (Upgrade?)
- MS Works (WTF,,,I keep deleting that!)

I just had the same behavior occur with my daughter's nearly new Toshiba Ultrabook at a different IP address (different location). Again, the behavior has ONLY occurred on the CorvetteForum.
It's like some (or sometimes) action objects can be treated as downloadable objects. And, basically, I'm talking about opening threads, replying to topics, or even opening a forum. Sometimes, it'll start downloading a PHP file -- instead of opening the object.
Once the behavior starts, IE or GoogleChrome must be unloaded and reloaded to restore correct operation.
