I'm not aware of email notifications being broken as not only have I been receiving them normally (several today alone) but I've not seen reports from others. If there is any issue, it may be isolated.
Please make sure that the email is not going to your Spam/Bulk/Junk folder. You'll likely need to go to the web-based email client as the contents of those folders usually aren't downloaded in a pop-based email client.

I WAS getting notifications, now I get about 1/3 for new post emails and am not getting any PM notification emails
Today alone I got 3 PM's that I never got the email notification for. I checked my profile settings and it is checked to get the emails.
This morning I did get one 'subscribed thread' posting email, but never any more even though I visited the post after the original email. There was at least one other subscribed thread that I think I SHOULD have had an email for.
I'm not complaining, I'm on here enough that I can get by without the emails, just wanted to let you know it's not 100% yet.
It may not be that you have filters on your email. It could be Comcast flagging the email as spam. That's why you need to log into your Comcast account, using the webmail client, to make sure the emails are in the Junk/Bulk/Spam folder.
If that's not it, then it could be an issue specific to Comcast. There could be a delivery delay, which does happen from time to time with some ISPs.
Personally, I've received 100% of the email notifications within 5 minutes of the time stamp that triggered them. The issues earlier this week with the email notifications was a configuration issue and was fixed. If there is any email notification issues, it's likely a different issue and may be isolated to an ISP.

I'm looking into the issue. Right now, I'm not seeing any global issues and the past few test email notifications have arrived within less than 5 minutes of them being triggered. Some delay is normal due to batch processing.
Occasionally, either due to volume of emails from a source or spam ranking services suggesting the source is a risk, some ISPs will temporarily defer the delivery of emails to their customers from certain sources. We've had that issue occasionally with specific ISPs.
I just changed my email to a different non-comcast account, got the verification email immediately. It shouldn't take too long for me to figure out if everything else is working.
I think it's Comcast somehow delaying emails from the CF
Yesterday I was getting emails all day long from other sources as they were sent. At 2:12pm today I got the posting notification for your 8:52pm post from last night.
Since I changed my CF email address from comcast to netzero I believe I've received all of my notifications, on time.
I had been working with Administrator Savewave who is also a Comcast customer. He indicated not getting some email notifications, or significantly delayed ones, with his Comcast email address but when he switched to Gmail email notifications were working correctly and promptly. So it does appear to be an issue with Comcast.
I'm not seeing errors from Comcast about this as there isn't any bounce backs or notifications about any delays.
You might have better, and quicker, response if you (being a Comcast customer) file a complaint with Comcast about some emails are being filtered despite they're legitimate.
