Blue squares with ?
Why is it that sometimes I can't see the pictures. In place of the picture there will be a small blue square with a ? I've looked in the frequently asked questions but was unable to find an answer.

Happens to me too. When pics do not display, the problem is usually with the person attempting to post the pic. Occasionally pics originate from a site which I cannot reach for whatever reasons.

I can look into this, but I'd need you to provide a direct example by providing a link to one of the posts that shows the issue you're describing.
As Easy Mike stated above, the issue is likely due to either the image being hosted off site and being unavailable or wrongly linked. If those are the cases, there's not much CorvetteForum can do and such an issue will occur elsewhere whenever images are hosted outside of originating domain.

Please check out SCCA VETTE's post, 77 project 80%complete rebuild $7K in the C3 for Sale/Wanted forum. Post #2,3, and 4 have these small blue squares with the ? I was asking about.
Let's just forget about this. I went back to the above thread and the squares are gone and the pics were there. Maybe I am in to big of a hurry.

In that example, those pictures are hosted by Photobucket so CorvetteForum has no control over that content. Reasons why they may not load could be that your computer/network can't reach Photobucket's server at the time you load the thread, among other reasons such as the pictures were removed or deleted on Photobucket's side.
