Default Search function issues

In trying to search the C4 Tech section for some threads that discussed installing headers, I noticed that when I used the "Search This Forum"
tab, most all of the returns had nothing to do with the search terms I used.

I entered: Header installation as the term using just those two words alone. Search results that are returned will show the search terms highlighted in bold and red text. It looked like all but one or two of the returns in my search showed nothing in bold red text and the thread had nothing at all to do with either headers or installation. Only this thread appeared to have the terms I used.

What I also found strange was that the first two pages of returned results were threads created or replied to within the last two days.

Any ideas?

I have the same thing in the C6 forums. Search for ZR1 wheels or cup wheels and get everything but what I'm looking for. Very frustrating!

Same here. All I'm getting is the current threads in the section I'm searching in, C6.

We are investigating and working on the issue.

To clarify and confirm the results, is it that some posts contained "head" instead of "header" and others contained "install" instead of "installation"?

The above was what I found and believe is part of the issue. If not, please provide further details.

Thanks

Today everything seems to be working again correctly for me. I was attempting to search for "shift light". I would get results that didnt even mention the word shift or light in them (verified by using CTRL-F). I also tried narrowing results to searching in the title only, and again had random results. Most of the posts that were shown seemed to be recent posts in the forums, and no correlation to my search
