There is a limit to amount of threads returned by the search for resource purposes but all old content is still there and should be searchable. Since there is a limit on returned search results, which has been the case for as long as I can recall, you would need to be more specific when doing a search query so that the returned results will have the content you're looking for and getting into the older content before the 250 limit for returned results is made.

No, it's more than that, JT. I just tried an extended search and it would only return 25 results and only to the first part of July of this year.

Please provide a few specifics so we can check. Is it continuously replicated? I just entered a few random terms and got results from 2007 in my 250 results, which would appear normal given the amount of data there. There may be something inconsistent.

It seems to be inconsistent. Here are some results.
1. "sender", yesterday and older, all C6 and sub-forums. First time, 4 results, August 16 through 21, 2012.
2. "sender", yesterday and older, all C6 and sub-forums. Second time, 9 results, only back as far as July 29, 2012.
3. "bumper", yesterday and older, all C6 and sub-forums. 250 results.
4. "torch", yesterday and older, all C6 and sub-forums. 102 results to Jan. 2011. (Really expected more and further back).
