Common Corvette Forum Help Questions

Question: Why doesn't my signature always display?
Answer: Administrators have asked that signatures be reduced to only one-time, per thread, per poster. This is to avoid unnecessary cluttering of a thread with redundant signatures.

Whenever you desire your signature to appear, you'll have to manually enable the Show Signature option whenever you post:

Tip: Make sure you have Display Signatures enabled in your account or you will not see any signatures at all. To check this option:

1) On the Navigation bar, click on the User CP link: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/usercp.php
2) Click on Edit Options link: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/prof...do=editoptions
3) Under Thread Display Options - Visible Post Elements - make sure a checkmark is in Show Signatures option.

Question: What do all the Icons & Symbols mean?
Answer:

Threads that you have participated in will display an arrow within the status icon:

- Thread has no new posts. You have participated in this thread.

- Thread that has unread/new replies. You have participated in this thread.

- Thread that has unread/new replies. Orange colorization means the thread is also considered a hot topic (500+ views or 50+ replies). You have participated in this thread.

- Thread is locked (no replies allowed). Thread that has unread/new replies. You have participated in this thread.

Threads that you have not participated in will not have an arrow in the status icon:

- Thread that has been moved to another section.

Next to the above you'll find a few more:
- Click on that icon, next to a thread, to direct your browser to the first unread post in a thread.

- The thread contains file "attachments". This does not include an images hosted off site (hotlinked).

- Thread has been associated with a few "tags" (keywords) for assistance with grouping/searching for keywords/information.

- You are subscribed to the thread.

Some other misc icons:

- Member is online

- Member is offline

- Click on this icon, located to the left of each post, if you feel the post needs Moderation attention (for forum guideline violations).

The red, white and blue stars are tied to the member's post count. They are as follows:
