Members cannot delete those notices. I believe Corvette staff can delete those notices but I'm not sure what the policy is.

Thanks J T! But that kind of makes no sense, i have the option to delete the message, but not the info of who its from and the date, a private message gets completely removed, but a message from other members doesn't, I'm not talking about warning messages from the moderators, im talking about the ones if you click on my screen name and click on view public profile

There is no misunderstanding about the issue as I do understand what you're describing.

The inability to fully remove those notices of deleted visitor messages is actually a software limitation and not a CorvetteForum-specific issue.

Those notifications of deleted visitor messages can only be removed by CorvetteForum staff as part of the software's code.

I've got a request in the works to find out what the policy is.

Administration says it's allowed for a moderator to delete those (Username and date) if the forum member asks that they be deleted.

That is correct. I can't fully remove those visitor messages from my own profile page. In fact, I have 22 pages listing soft-deleted visitor messages on my profile page.

It clutters the profile page, I suppose, but visitors to your profile page cannot see the list of soft-deleted visitor messages -- just you and the moderators.

There is no prohibition on requesting that a moderator or administrator delete the visitor messages from your profile. And there is no policy prohibiting a moderator/admin from doing so on your behalf, but it is something you can do yourself and should do yourself in order to keep from bogging down the moderators/administrators on dealing with such requests.

Thanks guys, if it isn't visible to the public, and isn't wasting the forums space, i can live with it until their is a solution to do it myself
