Anyone else having issues with slow loading? I've also noticed that when the page finally does load, that it still indicates it is loading "images" from the site - this never stops for me (waiting for images.corvetteforum.com is the message I'm seeing).
Has something changed over the last couple of weeks that would cause this? I have a decent internet connection (25meg down / 12meg up) and have not had any issues on other sites.

It takes a minute or more for each page to load, where before it was only a few seconds.
I have no problems with any other sites I visit.

It's about as bad as I have seen it in 8+ years. Sometimes it loads okay, then the next thread you click on fails to load. It's a somewhat intermittent problem which will make it harder to track down and fix.
Change your DNS address to one of the Google or openDNS area addresses. I changed mine to an openDNS area address and now having no problems. In fact, my speeds have increased.
For openDNS, use one of these addresses: 208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220
The moderators have used the google DNS area addresses.
BTW, it seems that Comcast users are the only ones affected.

Didn't work so changed back to my providers DNS servers, no change there either.
And it's NOT just Comcast, I am with ***.
But good idea to try OpenDNS, when I was with Suddenlink that made a huge difference.

Sometimes this site acts normally and then in the middle of reading a thread, it locks up completely. It's a forum issue, not our IPS as I know others that are having the same problem and have different providers.
Awful this morning. Some pages can take 10 seconds to load. I did learn if a page stalls, I can click OT shortcut in my Bookmark Toolbar, then click back button, and the page immediately loads. Strange fix, but it works, and only acceptable as a temp fix.

I've done something similar when a page is very slow downloading and not just the CF website. When I see the a page start to slow down, I will stop the download, then refresh. The page will usually instantly loads.
I'll pass your advice along to the tech team, but if the issue was with the CF servers everybody would be experiencing access issues. It appears you use Comcast as your ISP. Me, too. None of us who are Comcast users were able to access the site a week ago. I couldn't get on for more than 24 hours until I followed the advice posted in this and other threads recommending I change my DNS.
When I did that, I regained access to the site. The tech folks advised several days ago that Comcast would eventually start redirecting its customers to the Corvetteforum and many people said that ended up being the case for them.
If you still are not able to access the site through Comcast after changing your DNS, clearing your cache and deleting your cookies, I'm not sure what to tell you other than to try and repeat that process because maybe something went wrong when you took those steps and the changes didn't take place.

Comcast customers in particular had this issue and was resolved by changing to an alternate DNS server - such as Google or OpenDNS.
There shouldn't be DNS issues at this time, but I suspect there may still be some issues with the network that may be likely from continued flood of non-legitimate traffic aimed at disrupting the site.
There is something wrong and it started about two weeks ago causing this site to slow down. I've got Verizon 50/25 and every other internet site works like it always did - fast. Not here, please fix.

Also, about 20% of the time the "Back" arrow won't work until I reload the page I'm on, then it will let me arrow back sometimes.
I've never used a site that had so many problems that go on for so long.
