"STACK OVERFLOW"...??? IT help needed

"STACK OVERFLOW"...??? IT help needed
I keep getting a pop-up:
at the top, it says "MESSAGE from WEB PAGE"; under that:
"STACK OVERFLOW at line: 0"
then - at the bottom, in a "box": OK
It "freezes" the page and I can't do anything until I "X" it out (top right hand corner).
I'm a 'puter "nerd" and don't know WHAT it means or how to permanently get rid of it.
This FORUM is the ONLY place it appears...and it's a "PITA"!

Internet explorer freezes the computer
This really bites! Internet Explorer cant navigate on this site since the recent bunch of new ads with endless downloads have appeared. Had to go to another computer with a different browser just to get this post off. IT people need to do a much better job of screening this crap in the future to make sure it is compatible with the mainstream. Very annoying

I also get a lot of "Internet Explorer has modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting" and Not Responding. This and doubleclickad are creating a difficult situation.

Yes, Xfinity ad seems to be the main culprit of the "Stack" and "cross-site scripting" messages.
Michelin ad seems to cause the doubleclickad problem.
