Been having to wait for 10-15 seconds for a new page due to "connecting to loadus.excelator.com...." Sometimes I don't see it, but this message has been going on for the last couple of weeks but it's not constant. Sometimes there is no delay, sometimes it takes some time.
I'm not sure that's coming from CorvetteForum. It's a file downloading site. Is there specific threads where this is occurring? If so, perhaps a member has hotlinked content.
It's the second URL. I had originally written it down on a scratch pad and looks like I added the "c"
Right now pages are loading quickly but I occasionally see it in the various things that load. And depending on the speed pages load, it can be "waiting for", "connecting to", or "connected to".
Noticed this again this morning and this afternoon that this "lodus.exelator is back and I see both "waiting for" and "connected to". It holds up page loading for anywhere from 5-15 seconds. It's not consistent for every page load but still a (minor) annoyance.
Been a problem all day today. It doesn't appear when going back to previously loaded pages, jut when new pages are loaded. The wait still happens even if I go back a page and then reload the same page.
Certainly is faster this morning But it seemed yesterday that it was just the loadus.exelator guy was holding things up and there were a couple of times where page loads took a good 20+ seconds waiting for that.
It could be the issue is intermittent based on traffic/load. I'm not involved with the ad side but I did request some investigating based on this and another report that suggested a possible issue.
