Default Help with "Current Profile Pic"

I've looked through the threads here and haven't found this particular problem addressed...

When I'm looking at my "Current Profile Pic" it shows a photo of my Corvette which I've uploaded and want to use. However, it isn't my current profile pic. (C5 emblem pic is current). When I click "Save Changes" it states "Upload of file failed". How can the upload have failed if the pic is showing up as a choice?

I keep uploading the pic and am getting stuck in this loop every time.

The Corvette shown in your profile is called a profile picture. The C5 emblem shown is called an avatar. They are different and not connected. For you to get the Upload Failed error, you must be attempting to upload a file.

If you want to change the avatar, you'll need to upload the picture in the Edit Avatar section.

See the following for an illustration:

Thanks for pointing out the difference! I'll give it a try.
