Default Computer Bugs and Frustrations ...

Hello,

I've been experiencing a few issues with my computer. Am hoping someone here can offer assistance in the form of providing several remedies.

#1. Unable for Corvette Forum site to ‘remember’ my user name and password. I have to re-sign in and add my password each and every time I wish to sign-in to the Corvette Forum.

#2. Pretty much the same ‘routine’ with Netflix. I experience a long and maddening cycle to sign on with them. The experience is as if I am a new customer with having to enter just short all my personal and bank data each time.

Anyone care to offer remedial assistance?? I’d certainly appreciate any and all help ...

My computer specs:

Dell XPS 8300 with an Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.4 GHz.
memory = 12.0 GB
System is 64-bit operating.
with Windows7 Home Premium ... service pack 1

Jay ...

Kill your cookies to the corvette forum. Close your browser, come back in and sign in.

A "CTRL F5" might fix it too. That will give a hard refresh to the screen you are viewing.

This will probably be moved to a different forum.

Well, I definitely think all of your issues are caused by George W. Bush. Clearly, there's no other possible explanation.

There's nothing wrong with the web site!
It has never crashed. You can keep your

When you sign in to the CF, are you checking the "Remember Me?" box?? Close your session by logging out, clear the CF cookies and sign in again, making sure the Remember Me box is checked.

Close the browser (don't sign out), re-start it and launch CF. Are you still signed in?

Since it's happening at more than one web site, you may have inadvertently made your browser too secure or too private. You might have to look into your browser options and lessen your security/privacy settings.
