You can't delete a thread. If you want a moderator to review your request, I'd suggest you use the Report Post feature by clicking on the icon to the left of whatever post you're referring. Or you can provide the details here.
Members can't delete or close their own threads. The inability to delete or close threads is common on other community-based websites like CorvetteForum. You'll notice that CorvetteForum has threads going back into the late 1990s. If everyone deleted their thread, then there wouldn't be any valuable information for others to reference via search who may have the same question or issue tomorrow.
If you have a Classifieds ad, you can contact a Moderator via the method I posted above. But in general, CorvetteForum (and most other websites like CorvetteForum) will not delete/close threads on a regular basis just because they are determined to have been "done" with. There are nearly 360K members here on CorvetteForum, plus visitors, that may want to read or participate in a thread tomorrow.
