Default question on appearance

On my computer at work the forum looks fine. But on my computer at home the boxes on the left side of the site have no pictures in them, and everywhere there are xs in black squares and I mean everywhere. Also the text boxes on the site are very big.

What did I do?
Old guy here, so don't credit my computer skills too highly.

Thanks for your help......

Post a screen capture. It sounds like your browser may be blocking images from CorvetteForum or a 3rd party security software is blocking images. We need more information, such as seeing a screen capture and also the browser version you are using.

I am using Internet Explorer 7. I have no idea how to post a screen capture.

Thanks for your patience.

Have you tried restarting your computer? Clearing the browser's cache? I have seen IE sometimes not properly load images that have been resolved with a simple reboot - especially if the computer has been running for some time. With an old IE version of 7, it might be good to refresh the browser's settings.

I am having exactly the same problem on my laptop. I cleared the browser history and restarted the computer, but it still shows the same as the OP mentioned.

Not sure how to do a screen capture either. I'm also running Windows 7, and IE 11.

Any help would be appreciated.

The OP is using IE 7, not Windows 7.

You said you cleared the History, but I said you need to clear the cache or Temporary Internet files.

Also, if you have CorvetteForum bookmarked as a favorite, when you delete the cache, Temporary Internet files, history, you need to remove the checkmark in the box for Preserve Favorites data or it won't work.

If this doesn't work then you should try a different browser or explore your computer's software as you may be using some 3rd party security software blocking/filtering content. The issue you describe is a local (computer side) issue and CorvetteForum does not have control to fix it.
