Default Site rendering issues in Chrome

I'm also having some wild issues in Chrome. HUGE pictures, inability to click on "my recent topics" and get the drop down box, huge font, mumbo jumbo for the icons in the smilies and more. Just started this afternoon when I logged in. I logged out and then back in and NO CHANGE. I also restarted my PC and also NO CHANGE. I'm not having problems on other sites that I frequent so I'm not thinking Chrome is the problem. I'm seeing advertisements in the middle of things like I was NOT logged in> What's changed???

I also have lost the "community" selections along the right side of the page for the C5 Forums which is my community.

I'm not seeing this issue in a stock build of Chrome. You can see the My Recent Topics Menu in the first attachment. In the second attachment you can see the smilies. You can also see normal font.

The only confirmed issue is extra ads, which we're looking into.

If the issue persists and you've cleared your cache, then you'll need to provide the extensions you're using and supply a screen capture.

I also ask that you please don't cross-post the same issue across other threads. The other thread you pasted the same message to is regarding an entirely different issue than what you're describing.

AMAZING!!!!!!!

I go off to a Dr appmt and come back 3 hours later (left the PC running as I always do ) and everything is working correctly.

Obviously must have been something on my PC that vaporized into the atmosphere while I was away......... Couldn't possibly have been anything in the Forum software. Right?

As I said, the issue with ad placements was known and confirmed (and well reported). It was also fixed promptly.

The other issues you reported with font size, smilies, My Recent Topics, etc., was not something I could confirm at the time of my reply. Also at the time of my reply, and even the time of this reply, no other member replied to this thread to confirm the aforementioned issues, except the ad placement.

So I take those factors into consideration and take a reasonable next step, if after suggesting clearing your cache and seeing if the issue persists, to request additional information. I don't think this was unreasonable. We can't always help if we can't get basic information and the issue can't be duplicated and no other reports were made at the time.

Since this issue is fixed, as you've said, we're probably finished here.

Thanks.
