I believe you have to contact a moderator at the bottom of the page.

You can hit 'edit' and delete the content but not the title.

Just contact a moderator of the forum where the thread/post was made. Or post it here.

Note that you do not need to delete old For Sale ads. If the item has been sold, you can have the thread closed after replying that the item was sold.
