Default How to post a video
Could someone please tell me how to post a video. I have a Photobucket account. I do the IMG thing and all it posts is a picture, no video. I must be doing something wrong. Thanks.

Have you tried looking in the HELP forum?

Are you trying to post a YouTube video, or some other kind?

What does Photobucket have to do with videos?

yeah photobucket is not going to work for videos. Get a youtube channel, it's easy.

Thanks... I thought one could also upload videos from Photobucket since they can be saved there also.

I posted a video from photobucket here years ago but it was a PITA to do it. Youtube is much easier.

Photobucket will work for videos. I have done it. But it is a pain in da ***. Like the other members suggested that Utube is very simple easy to do.

You mean creating an account and uploading it to YouTube? I'm sure that's covered somewhere on their own website so you might look on YouTube for help with YouTube.

Or posting it here after you've uploaded it to YouTube? If so, you merely copy/paste the URL of the video. The video will have a Share button that displays the URL that you can copy/paste inside a message here.

The way I did it was go to video in Photobucket. Next to the video to the right you should see 3 options I posted all 3 until the video posted. Make sure you preview before posting so you don't blow up the thread. LOL. Let me go get a photo bucket video. I will be right back

That doesn't quite work. You had:

[URL="[URL=http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa313/DallasCowboys80/IMG_5258_zps5ac17299.mp4][IMG]http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa313/DallasCowboys80/th_IMG_5258_zps5ac17299.mp4[/IMG][/URL]"][URL=http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa313/DallasCowboys80/IMG_5258_zps5ac17299.mp4][IMG]http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa313/DallasCowboys80/th_IMG_5258_zps5ac17299.mp4[/IMG][/URL][/URL]...

You can't have an MP4 linked for the IMG tag and you're repeating the code more than once.

Really, all you have to do is copy/paste the URL from YouTube and it automatically embeds inside a post.
