It was posted in another thread that IB was doing a software update. It is not unusual to require users to re-enter their credentials after an update. From a security standpoint, this is actually a good thing for both IB and the users for reasons that I am sure those more expert than myself can explain better than I could.
Suffice it to say that yes, it is annoying to have to log in more then once on an update, but it is better than never updating the security of the software.

Had to log in 3 times in the space of about 2 hours for me. Seems to me that if the IB tech folks need to do some updates, it might make sense to do them at some point at night or very early AM.
If members have to log in a number of times because of updates, why not do the work at night so that users only have to log in once?
