I wish there was. The search function doesn't let me ask by year so I always have to deal with the other years

Well in the Advanced Search you can select and deselect forums so that means you can search in just the C3 section, for example.

If I type in" how to remove 68 door handles" it searches with the key words remove, door, handles. So there is still a few more posts that dont pertain but that does help. Thanks. I just think for convience, if we had a section that was just on how to do something without having to read an unrelated post or trying to scroll through a list of posts that have the word remove in them. I love the forum, don't get me wrong , but I've seen multiple threads asking the same questions because the answer in another thread was 200 posts in and was unrealted to the original thread. Im not a programmer and I have no idea how difficult or time consuming creating another topic area would be. Im just saying it would be nice just to have a section that we could search or scroll through quickly. My handle removal thread is hard for me to find because I didnt put how to in the title and I cant edit the title.

Thanks for the advanced search info though. That does cut down alot of extra stuff

The vBulletin search has never supported asking a question. You have always needed to search based on specific keywords. Regarding the omitting of common words, previous software would return results based on hits. You certainly would not want every single post that contains the word how, for example. Those are common stop words in many search engines (meaning they're dismissed) because they are used in so many topics.
