Default Underlined Hyperlinks

Is it possible on the site side to turn off the underlining of links? Or does this need to be done in a browser.

This cannot be controlled via your account. It is a setting for all or none at the software level for the site.

With 3rd party software installed on your computer using your browser, which alters the appearance and functionality of a website, that can be done. We can't recommend or support that, however.

Well then the site should get with the program and eliminate them.

I keep holding on to IE 11 because it allows them to be turned off, but I feel its days are numbered.

Underlined links are universally known to be links. Underlined links are still widely used. It's a matter of preference and style.
