Opening Pics on forum ?
New member, 45 yr C2 owner here.
Wondering how to view pictures in posts? I click on the little blue boxes, but they don't seem to open. Could be my old Windows XP I suppose.
I'm registered, logged in etc.
Must be a page on Forum operations?
Cheers, Bill.

In your personal settings there is a selection to 'Show Images'...make sure its on.
Under "User CP" then "Edit Options"

A couple of other computers I have, the little blue box opens with no problem.
Maybe an expert can help us out?

If it's what I think you are referring to, it is caused by Photobucket's hijacking of pictures, and holding for ransom, 3rd party posting. MANY people have already told PB to take it and shove it where the sun don't shine!

The problem is you're using Windows XP.
Microsoft, who developed XP, no longer supports XP. XP support was discontinued by Microsoft in 2014 after having been released and active since 2001. Major support for XP has been long gone and will continue to be dropped. Major browsers like Chrome, for example, no longer support XP. Firefox was one of the few to continue support for XP but no longer supports XP passed version 52:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb...s-xp-and-vista
Using outdated software is done so at your own risk as well as accepting things may or may not work correctly. When all major support for XP has been discontinued, it stands to reason that CorvetteForum cannot support XP if the developers (Microsoft) no longer can do so.

Outdated Software
Thanks to administrator for verifying my suspicions about my outdated XP software.
Guess I'll just have to wait to enjoy viewing and sending pictures until I upgrade my equipment.
Spending my "fun money" on the car these days.
Bill..
