There was a time when I was able to locate a photo within my posts and place text either above, below that photo. My editor no longer allows me to do that. The photo always appears after all of the text.

Options show "Full WSIWYG Editor".

Looking at your past posts, you're using the legacy Attachment system.

If you want to add text around your Attachments, you must use the newer Attachment system as described in the following Sticky of this section:

EDIT: Only problem with the new uploader is that it's choosy about which pictures are uploaded. When I try the legacy version, it never fails to upload.
