Ok, I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but at least I am not a spoon!
Anyone having a hard time posting pics on this site now? Never had a problem until the new format but tried more than five times to post pics of an intake I am selling.

Go through all the effort to manage attachments, select pics, wait for pics to come up and hit the upload button and nothing happens at all. Files are not attached.

Me too. NOTHING but problems for me with this new and supposedly "improved" format.

I've given up.

Hit the portrait icon above. Click browse your device. Go to your photo album. Highlight the photo you want. Click choose. When it loads, click Upload. It's there.

If only there was a "help" section, where we could ask questions about how the forum is or isn't working! If there was, we might even find a thread about picture posting problems! Like https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-pictures.html

Yep, I'm a quitter. Have wasted enough time trying to post pictures.

Maybe it's my computer? I dunno, but I'm not alone.

Click on the image of a picture (next to the smiley) on the quick reply page,
Click my albums, click on pic, click upload, post reply.

If you have a lot of pic's in your album it may take a while for them to display.

So pics will load using my iphone, but does not using my laptop with Win10, and Google Chrome or MIcrosoft Edge. Guess I will use my iphone or ipad from now on.

Both of these suggestions are spot on! Thanks for breaking this down for me. I am sure it has helped many more than just me.

So clicking on "Go Advanced" and "Manage Attachments" no longer works as it used to.

Appreciate all the help.

In fairness to the OP, that procedure has not been working correctly at times recently. The trouble often was it would load up to 100% but would not allow you to upload, even if you ARE a sharp knife. See the link in my previous post, you'll find many others had the same problem.

Right you are.
When it comes to computers I am not a dull knife.
Working for some and not for others or working intermittently is a glitch that needs to be addressed.
I have experienced what the OP complained about on various operating systems, browsers, Mac and PC.

The IB forum sites seem to have been suffering bandwidth problems of late. Loading a photo can take a minute of delay, when in years past the response was a few seconds. Patience is the key. Open another window to continue elsewhere, and look back to see if the image loaded (much like the old dial up days).

Since the last VBulletin update, a number of previously working features were discouraged or quit working. It was supposed to make the pages look the same across phone. tablet, and computer platforms, by conforming to Google's Android & Chrome standards. Maybe it accomplished that goal, by embracing the lowest common denominator of features. In years past, if a phone could not post what was needed, a few minutes with a real html interface would work (a computer in Explorer or Firefox).
Archive image files used to be accessible from the photo icon, and now only recent photos are recoverable unless you go to your personal photo albums and find the url, and then manually cut and paste it into the image url field. The YT and font option icons were deleted, while entering manual code que's still works, but not everyone remembers code.

Progress is better than clay tablets.

Please see the thread:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-pictures.html

It is difficult to monitor and reply to every thread that covers the same topic and does not increase the chance or reduce the time to being addressed. We ask that the topic be confined to one thread for all.

Thanks.
