Default How to use Search Function

I apparently don't understand how to use the search function of this forum. Without exception when I enter a topic, such as "C2 Headlight Y Stop Adjustment" in the search box, I get a lot of unrelated topics in return when I know there are 100s of threads on the forum on this topic. What's the secret? Can you give me a step by step primer on how to get the right results in my searches? Thanks

Glad to know I am not the only one that finds it near useless.

I will find out from the team if there is some sample instructions. My belief is that each word is going to be matched. So stop may be matched even if it has nothing to do with headlights. I do know Y will not be matched. When you have as much content in a database as CorvetteForum does (48 million posts), the system has to have some restrictions. It can't search for every occurrence of small and common words.

Please give it a little more time than just 39 minutes. Especially on a Saturday

No offense intended. Just joking with the first respondent..Google search really works great. So, it's not really a problem..It's just a little frustrating when you submit a post on a topic that probably gets a lot of discussion and you get responses such as..."did you think about searching the forum first?" Well, yes, I always try that first.
