Last year the a/c was cooling at 43 degrees at vent. This year the a\c is 56 vent degrees. When I stop the car and let it idle the temperature will get cooler. I turned the stv valve adjusting spring 1/2 turn clockwise, the vent temperature drove at 43 degrees. The next time I drove the a/c the temperature rose to 56 degrees. The same sequence happens time after time, cools at 56, turn the stv adjusting spring, the a/c cools at 43 degrees. Low side gauge reads 35 - high side is 170. Could the stv valve or the expansion valve needs replaced, or does my condenser need replaced? I need some good a/c advice? Thanks Dutch

This Help section is for Help with the CorvetteForum website (account issues, etc.,) and is not the place to post technical questions about Corvettes. Instead, please find the correct section, based on the generation of the Corvette.
Now start to slowly scroll down until you see the generation of your Corvette. 1966 Corvette? That's covered under the C1 & C2 Corvettes, 1953 - 1967 section: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-1953-1967-21/
