Ads between posts . . .

Ads between posts . . .
I have a new laptop, W10, running Firefox -- same as old laptop. But now, with the new one, I'm seeing ads in between individual posts and the old one doesn't do that.
What's up? (I did a search on this subject first, but didn't see anything relevant.)

Well of course, now I can't find an example. 
I know about the non-logins showing ads, but I must have been logged in because after I saw ads in question, I immediately came to this forum and made this thread. Which of course I couldn't do if I wasn't logged in.
Who knows? -- it's probably Microsoft's fault.
