Default stupid vendor question...

there's too much vendor spam.

could we just have the vendors only make one thread each? vendors making one thread for various individual products is a bit much. common example;

A&A kits now on sale at juiced motorsports!
XYZ long tube headers now on sale at juiced motor....
overhyped car seat covers now on sale at juiced...
corsa super duper extra califrag-wtfever blowout sale at jui-

and that's just one vendor. then there are the other 20 or so vendors all making threads for a single given product.. repeatedly.

we know you want money. we know you gotta keep the lights on. we also know it aint 2003 anymore and both hosting and bandwidth don't cost ****, these days. so i'm starting to think someone around here sucks off the vendors to such a degree because they're putting the difference in their pocket.. eh?

i kid, i kid. but seriously, could we maybe prune it a bit? start charging all of us if need be, if we can afford our 60k+ cars we can spend a few bucks a month on a forum. or let it be free but it costs you something if you wanna post. or whatever.

You raised these concerns 2 months prior and Administrator Savewave provided a response:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-spamming.html

Savewave will probably review this, again, for any Vendors that are in conflict and may reply and/or open this thread but I don't think this is something to continue re-posting when it regards how CorvetteForum operates and a response was already provided recently. While you may be willing to pay for a website that is closed to the public, or can afford a 60K+ vehicle, please note that's you and may not be the position for others. Not all Corvettes are 60K+ vehicles.

My view of being involved with sites for as long as I have, is that most appreciate a site that is free to access despite it is not free to operate. Thus CorvetteForum requires some revenue to cover the cost of operating a site as large and active as CorvetteForum in addition to additional revenue since CorvetteForum is owned by a for-profit company here in USA. The site cannot run on a 9.99/month GoDaddy plan. The threads that you may not be interested in are far easy to skip over than having to view ads you don't want before you can access the content (e.g., ads in videos on YouTube, etc.,) or have the site strictly paywall.

Savewave might reply to your concerns directly but if you feel you have similar concerns regarding operating or management, it is best to use the PM system by contacting lead Administrator Savewave. He can easily be contacted as he previously stated when you previously posted this concern in August.
