Locking Up
Of late, site has been locking up and have been getting this message. Not experiencing anything like this on other forums or any other areas with my system, Thanks.
When posting about such concerns, it helps to provide some basic information. Such as the browser, browser version, O/S, plugins being used, basic specs of the computer and Logged in or not. These types of concerns are often local concerns due to resource (lack of) available. It appears to me this is Chrome browser. Chrome is one of the top most popular browsers used. You indicate this has been occurring. I have not read a similar issue from others.
I'd first suggest disabling plugins. If not logged in, there will be more ads displayed and some lower-spec and outdated machines may not be able to handle the extra load and so this may not be avoidable without staying logged in. If you're logged in and the machine is not lower-spec and/or outdated, it's possible there is a specific ad that is causing the concern. If so, it helps to note what might be the common ad that displays when Chrome locks up. Given that ads are often variable and based on specifics to the viewer, clearing the browser's cookies might help prevent the ad from returning - if it's the source of your issue.

Thanks for the response. You are way above my computer savvy, so you're answering to a big dummy here. Using Chromium as browser, and as previously mentioned, this only occurs on CF site, no others. But thanks anyway for your help, I'll put up with it and continue to use task manager to get rid of notice.
Although it may only occur for you while on CorvetteForum, that does not necessarily mean CorvetteForum is the source. There are millions of websites out there and I'd imagine there's a few more out there that, if you browsed, could do the very same thing. Each website is different and some use more resources than others.
You blocked out your task bar so I assume there is some other programs running. Your computer may simply not have enough resources to browse CorvetteForum and have other tasks running. So that might be also something to look into. Yes, CorvetteForum is an interactive site and, therefore, it does use more resources than static webpages or even more simple, less interactive, sites such as Google.
You also might try turning off Infinite Scroll and Related Threads in the Edit Options area of the UserCP as those two features might save your browser some resources while on CorvetteForum.
