Just had an issue with a post adding links on it own to my posting. It happened here:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1600690271

When I first put up the response the words “exhaust manifold” would come up underlined in the post. Clicked on it and it took me to an eBay search for exhaust manifolds.

I waited awhile and went back in and was able to delete it and renter and that one was okay. But then the phrase “engine accessories” is taking me to an Amazon listing for engine accessories.

Is there a Firum issue or have I been hacked?

Not hacked. No forum issue.

Normally, the underlined links are only shown to Guests (not logged in). You cannot control what is and isn't linked. It's part of the software used as part of the advertising for revenue. Although the site is free to use, it is not free to operate. Ads, such as this example, help pay to keep the site online and free to be used.

I don't think you're supposed to see them as a logged in member. You did indicate they disappeared. If they remain while you're logged in, then I think that is a problem that is not intended.
