Default Losing post locations in threads

Maybe I missed something, but frequently when I’m scrolling long threads, I’m randomly shifted to the first post of the thread. And whatever happened to seeing pages of the thread instead of a long thread viewed as a single page? Also, when I try to view my previous posts, I click on one, and instead of seeing my post I am taken to some random post in that thread.
I’m using an IPad, not an early one.

Make sure you let the page fully load as what you describe is the focus element that a browser executes.

Infinite scrolling was released to CF some time ago (over a year ago). On desktop environments or desktop theme, this can be disabled in UserCP under Edit options. We encourage members to browse the UserCP, and site, to be familiar with the settings and environment. If you're using a mobile theme, infinite scrolling cannot be disabled and there is no plans to do so.

This goes back to item 1 from your list. While the browser sets anchor points to instruct your browser to focus on a certain spot of a page, it's your browser that does the execution from the instructions. There could be an intermittent bug, in which case we need more detailed information.

Thanks J T, I kinda wondered that there must have been some changes, but by not waiting for the page to fully load must be the main problem I’m having.
I also tried looking at my old posts and found that by waiting, it takes a couple of seconds to get to my post after arriving at the thread.
