It would be helpful if vendors had a place to post their items so they do not plug up the sections for regular people. For instance in the C7 performance section there is a vendor there who has seven pages of posts for brake pads...not people who have used them. he just keeps posting there to keep it near the top of the page. obviously it goes without saying they would then be prohibited from posting in any thread but that one.

While CorvetteForum is free to use by members, CorvetteForum is not free to operate. Vendors and Ads help pay the bills so that members can continue using CorvetteForum as a free resource for their personal needs.
I reviewed, what I believe is, the vendor you're referring to. The vendor has been with CorvetteForum for over 10 years. It appears to me that the vendor is following the guideline by not having multiple, active, threads in a 2-day listing period.
Lead Administrator Savewave has helped put in place rules to help balance the advertisements by vendors within the content. While there are some vendor sections, limiting vendors to those sections would be similar to ads only being shown at the end of a TV or YouTube program/movie (where people could easily tune out), ads only shown at the bottom of a webpage (where people may not scroll down) etc.
If you believe there is excessive sales threads by any individual vendor in a section, then you can report it (with specifics) to Savewave via PM so that he can review for compliance.
