Sloooowww pic loading
... which has only one pic (besides the avatars and other minor forum graphics) and it spun and spun before finally loading and displaying. I have a very modern Win 10 PC with fast processor, large RAM, plenty of free disk space and fast internet and don't have these kinds of problems on other sites.
Just letting you know.

Aside from that, we may need to request additional and specific information if the issue continues.
Internet is AT&T Fiber 120-Mbps both up and down.

PS...It's not just photos hosted at CF.....I always just use url links for any photos I post and they are slow as well.

When an image is hosted off the network, the URL simply informs your browser and network to establish a connection and download the content. That means content hosted outside of the CF network is between the viewer (you) and the source (server where the content is uploaded). Content that is not hosted on CorvetteForum's servers means that CorvetteForum has no control over the content to include any availability or performance concerns of said content.
This thread is about images hosted within the network and not loading in a reasonable amount of time.
I just had the issue in this post it seems to show up in post with lots of photos.
I also tried a couple of other forums and I'm not having the issue on those.
I can try on my work system tomorrow and/or my laptop if it will help find the issue....If I'm the only one having the issue don't even worry about it, it's not really that big of an issue.

Images not hosted on CF are thus not served from CF. CF merely tells your browser and network to go to X site and then your browser and network download the content from there. Even though the image appears on CF, in those examples, the content is not coming directly from CF or its network. That's called "hot-linking". You may know this but not everyone does understand. Sort of like looking up an address on Google and then using the directions and experiencing traffic delays, which are not within Google's control.
So there should be no issue with content hosted outside of the network unless there is an issue between the viewer (you) and the server hosting the content. The site makes use of the Lazy Loading code but that doesn't change the aforementioned. I suppose it's possible there is an issue with the code and the browser but that doesn't seem to be what I'm seeing. Also wouldn't see that as an intermittent issue, such as what we're seeing in this issue.
We know there's an intermittent problem with content hosted within the network. But website to website comparisons are generally not helpful as there are so many variables and it tells so little as few two sites are similar in code or even same network path or server location.
