It is working correctly with the major browsers in my testing. We need more information. A start would be:

1) Link to a specific post where the issue occurrs
2) Provide the browser being used as well as any extensions

In threads with lots of downloadable content, that might be a different concern where the content is trying to download and it shifts the page. If the # sign is in the URL followed by a post number, then the instruction is working correctly and the rest relies on the browser to actually focus.

Here is one of the threads:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...post1601543568
I clicked the arrow on that thread, it took me to a post from a few days ago instead of the most recent I haven't seen
Using Chrome but tried with Firefox as well.

The anchor tag shows it links to a post on the 21st. Aside from this thread you created today, there's only 1 other post by your account today and then the next recent is the 22nd.

Meaning, did you actually read, or mark as read, the content from that point forward under your account?

I clicked on quick link, subscribed threads, found a thread I wanted to see what has happened since I last looked at it click the "arrow" next to the title and it takes be to where I have been before, not the most recent post I have not seen. I've always done this and it has worked, nothing to do with when I posted, it has taken me to the post where I last saw, new post after that. I have never had to mark anything as read, I think it just knew I saw/read the post and would next time take me to the next un-read or viewed post.
It's not working in some threads.

Like the meme thread in Off Topic, I've sent to that 3 or 4 times today and read everything, arrow shows up later becaue there are new post, it keeps taking me to the same spot yesterday at 6PM. It should take me to the new post from where it ended the last time I looked at that thread like the system has always done.

It's not working in some threads.
While it's not about your posting activity (to a degree - if you post in a thread then you've obviously also read it and the system handles as such), I raised your post history because I wasn't sure if that also meant you wasn't as active. Unfortunately, the system does not make it very easy to check activity. Activity would be an enormous amount of data. So I noticed your post history and wondered if that was an indicator.

The system uses a mix of what you've actually read, which is temporarily stored in the database for the last 10 days, and also uses your last activity date for anything older because it's nearly impossible for the system to record and retrieve what was and wasn't read for every single account for every single thread.

I'll have to monitor the threads you listed as an example. My own threads are working correctly and as usual. It's possible there's a bug with long threads. Right now, there's little data to go on and no obvious way to invoke the issue so it makes it difficult to find an issue. Need to find an issue before it can be fixed.

Ok, like I said, some threads (like this one) it's working fine, it does seem to be the longer threads. I log in pretty much everyday. Don't always post or respond though. thanks for checking.
