Default New Door Panel Question

Hello all,I purchased new door panels for my 77 from Corvette America upon examining the panels I noticed there is only one brass gourmet on the front leading edge to mount the screw to the door. The rear of the new door panel has nothing, no indentation, performed cut out etc. I have no way to determine where to install the screw to align with the screw hole in the door. My original door panels have two brass gourmets. Could this be a manufacturing defect? I called Corvette America and talked to a salesperson who had no idea……. Anyone know if the aftermarket door panel only comes with only one brass gourmet? and how best to install the screw to the door so it is aligned with the hole in the door?

Thank you for your help

This Help section is for Help with the CorvetteForum website (account issues, etc.,) and is not the place to post technical questions about Corvettes. Instead, please find the correct section, based on the generation of the Corvette.

Go back to the main forum page:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/

Now start to slowly scroll down until you see your generation of Corvette listed. C3 (1968 - 1982):

We encourage new members to take some time to browse around the site and read the Announcements and Stickies as they contain important and frequently asked information.
