Getting ALERT message when trying to post pics JT??
I've been getting alert messages (pics download to 50% and then the banner appears) and can't post any pics from my PC for the past year or so. For years I posted pics easily using the paperclip button. Vette buyer Steve suggested I use the pic upload button right beside the clip one and still no go. I disabled my Ad blocker to see if that was the problem, also with no luck. It's very frustrating not being able to post up pics I take or have on my computer after YEARS of doing so with no problem.

I will have to check with the team on monday in regard to the status of the bug with the software. It's not a simple push button fix. And the issue was some of your content you uploaded in your album did not comply with Rules and Guidelines. As part of Moderation removing the content, it broke the ability to upload. This was not intentional but instead a bug.

I have tried uploading a video in .AVI format without success. Is there a file size limit? The error doesn't say what the problem is. Working from my IPad.

YouTube would be the best place to post videos as that's their main service. We provide the ability to upload content but videos/movies that have any length are a different media. If you need help using YouTube, please see YouTube's extensive community help for basic instructions. Once the video is uploaded to YouTube, you simply need to copy and paste the URL of the video within the post and it will be hot-linked.

Your issue is different. There is no issue with your specific account and I was able to upload a test picture to it.
Therefore, in order to assist, you're going to need to provide further details. Such as how you're accessing CF (mobile or desktop/laptop), if you're using the mobile skin, mobile app or laptop/desktop full view, what browser you're using and plugins installed, as well as how large of file size was you attempting to upload.
