I made a reply to answer a question to a thread I started in C4 performance, however, it was blocked and pending Moderator approval. I'm guessing because I was replying to a bunch of questions with separate posts in a short period of time. How can this be rectified?

CorvetteForum uses some resources to help control spam and scammers to help protect the community. Some content is more subject to getting flagged as possible spam requiring manual review and approval by staff. We can't disclose exactly what triggers the spam filter to flag content as spam, as that would defeat the purpose, but know that using CorvetteForum for its intended purpose for a length of time makes the account less subject to getting flagged posts.

If you know your old email address you can email forumsupport@corvetteforum.com and it can be changed, no need for another account.

I wish I remembered it. I took a several year break from the Corvette group when I switched the car over to drag racing, now Im back to road racing. I run C5/C6 suspension and brake components on my Chevelle so I was only really active in the buy and sell section with buying several items. As Im back into road racing, Im trying to be more active in the buy and sell sections and required PM and ability to email members through their profile, but I cannot.

If you're unable to provide the email address that is associated with your original account, then the team will not be able to provide you access to that account. Hopefully you understand not giving access to accounts without some verification.

Regarding the timeline for when the PM access will be "unlocked", as I mentioned previously, we can't really provide that information outright. The restrictions that are in place are to protect the community. If the information on how to meet the restrictions were provided outright, then it would be used to defeat the measures that help protect the community. Those using CorvetteForum for its intended purpose can quickly gain full permissions.

I wasn't asking to be granted permission into my old account haha. All good, I'll sit it out and contribute as I can. I more of a buyer than I am a contributor. Any rate, Ill play along. Thanks for the prompt help
