Twitter links in posts are not showing up for me .
I can see them if I quote the posts but then have to click 'back' to read the thread .

Yes. This is due to Firefox's "Tracking Protection" that is blocking some remote loaded elements, such as from Twitter's domain to display Twitter's content outside of Twitter. That prevents the embedded content from displaying, as shown in the following screen capture:
If you click on that shield in the address bar, you'll see the settings and can disable or change them there. It's Firefox blocking content and breaking the functions as part of their privacy policies.

When you quote a post, you're seeing a traditional/basic link. Firefox does not block links in that way. When you're viewing a post, CorvetteForum's software takes that link and automatically embeds it so that you can view the contents of that link without having to click on it. That's where Firefox's privacy polices, in default form, become an issue.
