Need Help

I have been posting here for 20+ years and recently my pics don’t show up using MS windows EDGE browser. Everything works fine with chrome or firefox. Also works with EDGE on Android.

NO I DON”T WANT HEAR DUMP WINDOWS/EDGE – so start you own thread about how you hate Microsoft.

If you view with EDGE you will only see 2nd pic with other browsers you see both. ** my sig does not show up also **

I have tried everything I can think of (40+ years in computer business) including shutting down everything multiple times.

Here is an example image on my web site – copy and paste in Browser and view pic.
http://www.stl-vettes.com/66Vette/Co...s/COOL0220.jpg

Now when I add to post, as I have done 1000’s of times
[im g]http://www.stl-vettes.com/66Vette/Cool_Pics/COOL0220.jpg[/i mg]
I added space to img to just so it would show here.
The img will not show with EDGE.

2nd pic shows after uploading to CF. Problem is I have 1000’s of pics I have shared over the years on my web site and can’t/won’t upload to CF and start over.

Why does this ONLY fail with CF, EDGE & My website? Hopefully it is something simple as I like to share when I can. AND most people use MS Edge as their bowser.

Another question – perhaps it only on my PC/Network – if you can see pic#1 with EDGE let me know.

Thanks

George

This is not a CorvetteForum issue. It's because Edge blocks insecure elements by default. Change that setting in Edge, refresh the page, and the image will load. CorvetteForum uses secure HTTPS. Your server hosting your images does not.

Also, most people use MS Edge? Aside from different statistics showing Chrome has often been the leader, each site can be different. Last I checked, Chrome is used considerably more than other browsers on CF.

I had previously done that for my web site. Then it dawned on my in need to change permissions for CORVETTEFORUM.com bingo it works.
I assume that something change it the last windows/edge update because it broke a coupe of weeks ago.
My web site is 99% pics for the past 20+ year so in never changed/updated for HTTPS.

Thanks again

pics & sig work again
