I just bought a 1984 corvette from a fellow who's grandfather had it and loved the car. He changed the crossfire engine to a like 4 something Hp. It has the usual issues, brakes, fan isn't working, headlight won't close all the way. I got an original GM/Helms shop manual ordered. The guy was 89 years old and hhee had a pioneer CD player taken out sitting in the back of the drivers seat with the molding and screws etc. I haven't tried Pioneer but it looks in good shape. There are new gauges in it. Why would he have taken the CD player out???? I know dumb question, I should try it. I will but can anybody guess? Is there something behind it that he was trying to get to? You guys have seen it all what do you think? Also is there a video of how to remove the brake booster. My brakes are doing what you all have described. I can't believe the master cylinder is bad. Thanks for any advise. This forum is great. I'll learn alot,
